Status:  A Website and Social Media Presence for Brockton Makerspace

Schedule: On Time

Scope: Good

Work Completed:

 

• Spoke to Pat Monteith about the idea

• Came up with a plan on how to promote Makerspace

• Researched different web design services

• Created an HR plan and a budget for the project

 

Work to Complete:

 

• Have the Brockton Library Trustees accept the idea

• Create a domain and set up hosting

• Create Social media accounts for Makerspace

 

Success:

The board of the Brockton Library Trustees accepted the idea and purchased a domain.

Problem:

Still waiting for access to the library’s hosting provider and set up the domain to the hosting. Needs to continue contacting the person who is in charge of the hosting for the library.

Suggestions/Issues:

Depending on the issue, a cost for hosting may be added to the budget.

Proposed Changes:

There are no proposed changes at the moment, although the stakeholders will need to be informed about the cost of hosting being added to the budget, if there is no access to library’s hosting provider.
