Organization

An organization is Makerspace in Brockton Public Library. The ideas to introduce kids and young people to learn new sets of skills. At the Brockton Public Library, students do weekly activities to learn about technology, engineering and computers/computer coding.

IT Problem

The IT problem that I will solve with PM is a website for the Makerspace Brockton.  They want more people to know about organization and promote their brand. They only have a Facebook page that let people know what event is happening , but they looking for a better social media presence.  They can’t not use the library because the library uses Joomla and they have don’t have access to  edit the site. The site for Makerspace needs to easy for high students to maintain  and upload their projects.

Why This Organization?

I picked this organization is because I know a  main person who is involved with the program and she was my mentor in High School. I was also part of the Maker Faire who created this organization. The location of organization was is in my hometown of Brockton Massachusetts and I think this program is a good opportunity for the students who lives in this city.
